About Me
I’ve pressed the shutter since I was young,
trained in light and shadow —
digital, film, darkroom —
under Pipo Nguyen-duy at Oberlin.
Zanele Muholi lit the first spark,
showing me how the lens can honor the unseen.
I photograph as fieldnotes,
to understand this world.
I frame scenes not yet witnessed,
seeking the truth of who you are —
another piece of you revealed,
and I hope you feel that, too.
